Return to the game

Places behind the world.

V1.1.5: Lampang province expansion: new map, source data, terrain and accuracy notes. The earlier release record below describes the retained legacy world.

V1.1.3 adds seven province regions and twenty attraction stops. The V1.1.0 baseline and subsequent gameplay fixes are preserved; all runtime assets remain local.

V1.0.6 replaces the invented core street grid with selected OpenStreetMap geometry: 3,439 street/path segments, 10,788 centreline vertices and 1,555 source building polygons. The city reference layer uses local metres and preserves mapped bearings, shared junctions and curves. Shapes come from contributor data, not a survey.

Widths, elevations, many building heights, facade details and public room arrangements are inferred. Private interiors are not reproduced. The city’s dead ends and clipped stubs are filtered for a looped game network. Regional roads, university placement, metro and flyover connections remain compressed or fictional. This is a playable interpretation, not an official navigation map or a digital twin.

Landmark study

Public photographs and official campus/building references informed original geometry. Reference photographs are not redistributed. The table records what is modeled and what remains approximate.

Explore seven provinces

Twenty new stops join the original twenty-five destinations. These are simplified, reference-inspired scenes on connected fictional roads. Distances, province areas, terrain and building dimensions are compressed for the game; this is not a surveyed map or real-world route guide. Existing Doi Suthep and Phrae scenery stays in place.

All added geometry is original procedural code. No reference photographs or downloaded 3D models are included. Nearby attraction loading, shared geometry and existing adaptive textures keep scene growth bounded. New roads connect back into the original network; temple courtyards remain walking areas.

Greener routes and city districts

V1.0.8 adds mixed forest, coconut palms, banana plants, mango-tree forms, terrain-following rice plots, six scenic lakes and three cascades. Twenty-six fictional urban developments add apartment/retail/commercial facades and parking on clear plots. These additions are authored game scenery, not surveyed real buildings or measured national-park features. Original OSM streets and landmark records are retained. Nature references include the Lampang provincial agriculture overview and the official Chae Son tourism entry. All textures remain local.

Respect for places

Temple and church courtyards exclude vehicles. Sacred structures have no combat, destruction, collectibles or stunt rewards. School models represent exteriors and quiet waiting areas. No personal information or real individuals are recreated.

Local assets and credits

Three.js and Vite: MIT. Manrope, Noto Sans Thai and Barlow Condensed: SIL Open Font License. Original procedural architecture, vehicles, characters, roof texture, vegetation geometry and synthesized ambience. No GTA code or assets are included.

Retained photographic asphalt, normal, grass, soil and plaster maps: Poly Haven CC0 (asphalt_02, sparse_grass, forest_ground_04, plastered_wall_03). Generic broadleaf atlas: ambientCG LeafSet005, CC0. Species-level botanical accuracy is not claimed. Local licenses and the asset manifest are in licenses/.

Checkpoint games and local audio

V1.0.7 adds street coins, health, lives and twelve locally bundled Catchie games. The catalog and curated question banks were adapted from the user-authorized sealed V288.7 project kit. These are self-contained adaptations, with no remote game embeds or Catchie account dependency. All 1,200 English vocabulary clips were synthesized locally using CMU Flite’s slt voice through FFmpeg. Generation-tool copyright and permission notices are included; no endorsement is implied.

Graphics and controls

WebGL2 uses PBR materials, sky, warm sunlight and shadows. A Canvas compatibility renderer is used if WebGL is unavailable; it has simpler visuals. Keyboard, arrows, mouse, landscape touch, swipe and pinch remain supported. This release has automated gameplay, map, geometry and CPU checks, including Canvas software previews. Native browser layout, fullscreen, physical iPhone/Android performance and GPU frame rates remain unverified.
