What Catchie does
Catchie provides educational software and learning resources including English lessons, Thai-learning lessons, pronunciation and vocabulary practice, classroom tools, quizzes, and interactive educational games.
Is Catchie free?
Catchie is designed to provide free educational software platforms, learning resources, and games. Some classroom areas use teacher-provided access, student accounts, or course codes so progress and class activities can be managed securely; those access controls are not presented as a payment requirement for the public learning mission.
What student or learner data is used?
Depending on the feature, Catchie may store or process a nickname/display name, selected avatar, lesson/game progress, scores, rankings, selected difficulty, classroom account identifiers, class/course information, assessment results, account status, and login/session information. Some public learning progress and preferences are stored in the browser rather than on the server.
Public game leaderboards use chosen nicknames and game information rather than intentionally publishing email addresses, student IDs, or passwords.
Cookies, browser storage, and analytics
Catchie uses browser storage and, where required by a feature, cookies or session data for preferences, progress, authentication, and functionality. Catchie currently uses Google Analytics on public areas to understand general website usage and performance.
Security practices
Catchie is served over HTTPS and uses access controls for restricted areas, security-related response headers, and application/session controls. Catchie currently uses Cloudflare for website delivery, caching, performance, and protection against malicious or abusive traffic.
No internet service can promise absolute security. A dedicated Security page explains responsible vulnerability reporting.
How problems and abuse are handled
Technical problems, content errors, accessibility issues, suspected abuse, privacy concerns, and security vulnerabilities can be reported to [email protected] or through Report a Problem. Security reports should be clearly marked Security Issue.
